What is the All On 4 Dental Implant Assessment?
Have you ever noticed the vast difference in pricing between dental chains advertising All On 4 dental implants? Dr. Reza was concerned about the lack of transparency surrounding this procedure, and how it can be like a bait-and-switch game for customers shopping for the best solution to their smile makeover.
That’s why he created the All On 4 Dental Implant Assessment, an interactive questionnaire that takes just 3 to 5 minutes to complete. This assessment provides customers with the information they need to make informed decisions about their dental implant procedure, including questions they should be asking and personalized recommendations based on their budget and quality of implant.
With this tool, anyone can be prepared and confident when searching for All On 4 dental implants or a complete smile makeover.
You can access the All On 4 Dental Implant Assessment by going to the menu at the top of the page, clicking on “Treatments” and then “Dental Implant Center > All On 4 Dental Implants > All ON 4 Dental Implants Assessment.
What is the All On 4 Dental Implant Masterclass?
The All On 4 Dental Implant Masterclass is the only online class that we could find across the Internet that is an in depth guide into everything about All On 4 Dental Implants taught by renowned prosthodontist, Dr. Reza Khazaie.
Why a masterclass on All On 4 dental implants?
Dr. Reza felt a need to provide people with correct information on the ins and outs of All On 4 dental implants so that they could make an informed decision for themselves.
What is "All On 4?"
The All On 4 dental treatment concept originated in 1988 when Dr. Paulo Malo successfully treated the first patient with what has become known as the All On 4® dental implant treatment concept. Since then there have been over 3,500 dentists across the United States, including our own, Dr. Reza Khazaie, DDS of Willow Pass Dental Care who have followed in Dr. Malo’s footsteps. They are highly trained dental specialists who have devoted themselves to mastering dental restorations and facial problems that involve restoring missing teeth and jaw structures with treatments such as the All On 4® dental treatment concept, dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, TMJ/TMD, and many more.
They are known as Prosthodontists.
What are the benefits of All On 4 dental implants?
1. A cost-effective solution
2. Reduced surgical scope
3. Reduced need for bone grafting
4. Faster treatment and healing time
5. Stunningly beautiful
Am I a candidate for All On 4 dental implants?
All On 4 dental implants are ideal for people who are missing many teeth. The solution is both cost-effective and reliable. The procedure of receiving implants, however, is subject to certain requirements. A clean bill of health is required to undergo the procedure because it often involves anesthesia.
In addition, ideal candidates include:
– Possess sufficient bone structure
– You do not have gum disease
– They do not smoke
– Commit to the treatment plan
What are potential risks with All On 4 dental implants?
1. Minor surgery is required.
2. Improper placement of implant could result in a damaged bridge.
3. All On 4 dental implants require a highly-skilled prosthodontist.
4. All On 4 dental implants are permanent and require precise placement.
5. Peri-implantitis in rare cases can occur.
6. The entire bridge prosthetic must be replaced if damaged.
7. All On 4 requires expert execution by a dental specialist (Prosthodontist).
8. There is less room for error with All On 4 dental implants.
Who is not a candidate for All On 4 dental implants?
Individuals with gum diseases such as periodontitis or gingivitis may not be suitable candidates for all on 4 dental implants. This is due to the fact that advanced stages of gum disease can cause damage to the gum and jawbone tissue.
Other medical conditions that can prevent a person from getting dental implants include: bruxism, diabetes, heart disease, and smokers.
How much do All On 4 dental implants cost?
All On 4 dental implants are a cost-effective alternative to conventional individual implants when it comes to replacing missing teeth.
However, All On 4 dental implants are still more expensive than traditional dentures. Most dental professionals will agree that the benefits provided by All On 4 dental implants are by far worth the additional costs.
However, each patient is unique. Elderly patients may not wish to undergo implant surgery. Others will find that traditional dentures more than meet their needs.
All On 4 dental implants can range in price from $15,000 per arch to $50,000 or more depending on the level of finish required and materials selected.
Meanwhile, an economical traditional denture can be had for as little as a few hundred dollars. A custom set of dentures crafted from the best materials may run as high as $7,000. The average price of a typical set of dentures, however, only costs between $800 to $2,000 per plate.
What is the process for getting All On 4 dental implants?
When the patient is fully sedated, the Prosthodontist removes any remaining teeth and shapes the upper and lower arch sockets by making small incisions in the gum. These incisions will be used to place the implants. Implant screws are then inserted into your jawbone, and a connector is attached.
Are All-On-4 dental implants worth it?
Are All-On-4 dental implants a worthwhile investment? They are an excellent choice for patients who have lost all of their teeth. If you currently wear an upper or lower denture, or a full set of dentures, All-On-4 implants can provide you with a greater sense of confidence and security while eating and speaking. They often can make a huge difference in your life. See our Success Story Videos on the home page.
Which is better All-On-4 or All On 6 dental implants?
If you are considering dental implants to replace missing teeth, you may encounter two procedures: “All On 4” and “All On 6” dental implants. Although these treatments share similarities and aim to achieve comparable results, significant differences may influence a dentist or Prosthodontist’s recommendation.
Both procedures are effective solutions for those missing multiple teeth. They both involve surgically placing dental implants into the jawbone, which can support permanent or removable dentures and maintain the jaw’s bone structure following tooth loss. The All On 4 and All On 6 dental implant procedures take approximately two to three hours and can be completed in a single day.
These implants are named based on the number of implants supporting the entire fixed prosthetic arch; four or six dental implants are used to avoid needing a single implant for each missing tooth. The arch is attached to the jawbone in four or six places and supports all the teeth. The implants are designed to fuse with the jaw and replicate the natural teeth in both form and function.
The most apparent difference between the two procedures is the number of implants placed in the mouth. Many Prosthodontists believe the All On 6 dental procedure provides a more substantial and stable base for the prosthetic dental arch, resulting in a longer-lasting and more comfortable smile.
With additional stability and more even pressure distribution, the mechanics of biting and chewing can help prolong the lifespan of the prosthetic arch. Extra implants not only support your bite but also reinforce the implanted bone. Teeth play an unseen role in maintaining the stability of the jawbones. Without teeth, the jawbones begin to deteriorate. The more implants you have, the more strength and stability your jawbone will have.
All On 4 and All On 6 dental implants are excellent options for people who have lost multiple teeth and wish to restore their smile. Both procedures are relatively quick and produce great results.
Is All On 4 dental implants the same as full arch implants?
When it comes to dental implants, All-On-4 uses significantly fewer metal implants that are inserted into your jawbone. This is in contrast to a typical set of full implants which can require 8 to 10 implants per jaw, causing a strain to both your mouth and body.
Additionally, full implants can take between six months to a year to complete due to the need for your jaw to heal between procedures.
