Dr. Luz Adriana Cuellar received her degree in Dental Surgery from Javeriana University, Colombia in 2000 and worked in a community hospital before moving to California. In 2005, she completed the Clinical Trials Design and Management program from UC Santa Cruz and participated in an internship program with Stanford University Hospital.
As a California Licensed Dentist since 2007, Dr. Cuellar focuses her practice on children, advocating for better oral health by means of prevention and education. She has held several leadership positions in the Santa Clara County Dental Society and has participated in community service activities with the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Cuellar obtained her Pediatric Dentistry degree from Loma Linda University in June 2016. During her residency, Dr. Cuellar participated in many community outreach programs and volunteered for domestic and international mission trips. She performed research on esthetic zirconia crowns for posterior primary teeth, which has made her very knowledgeable with this technology. Dr. Cuellar is very excited to continue her practice in Pediatric Dentistry to provide excellent care for children.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family and husband. Dr. Cuellar is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA).
