Dr. Reza was part of a team of 5 dentists, 1 dental assistant and 9 volunteers that traveled to Cape Verde, Africa in May 2016. They journeyed by plane and by ferry to arrive at the island nation of Cape Verde.
The KIDS dentist team was able to see 1,232 kids in only five days. They extracted 1,128 teeth and restored 60 permanent teeth.
